ENGINEERING SERVICES – HYPROSTATIK

For rather slow movements, where oils with higher viscosities corresponding to VG 22 up to about VG100 can be used, such as in the case of slowly rotating linear guides and rotary tables, we offer our customers the possibility of specifying the dimensions and technical data of hydrostatic components as part of our engineering services, usually taking into account our PM controllers. Customers then receive a drawing with the required hydrostatic pockets and all dimensions of the hydrostatic pockets.

Our customers receive full feedback on this design, which enables them to manufacture the hydrostatic components themselves. Subsequently, customers can purchase the required PM controllers from us. Customers benefit from our experience in designing hundreds of successful hydrostatic components, such as linear guides, shaft bearing arrangements, rotary tables, centre bearing arrangements and special solutions. Thanks to our calculation programmes, available only to us, we achieve optimal solutions.

With these programmes, we optimally determine all relevant data for hydrostatic pockets and calculate values such as the required pump pressure, minimum and maximum pocket pressures, minimum and maximum clearance dimensions between fixed and movable bearing parts, rigidity, load reserve, friction power, oil heating, required oil flow and also calculate damping values under dynamic load, depending on different excitation frequencies, masses and determined rigidity values.

This allows us to achieve the best possible damping even at the critical frequencies specified by customers.
